Members: Approx. 55 Members Attended
Elected Officials: Councilman Yitzy Schleifer, Delegates Sandy Rosenberg, Dayla Attar, Malcom Ruff

Election of Board Members: (Sue Joslow)

BGE – Gas Main Replacement – Poplar Hill Rd/Clarks Hill – Slated to start late 2024

Senior Center – Falls/Northern – Still tied up in litigation – Expected to be resolved next year.

Falls/Northern Project – Some funding secured in CIP – dispute over DOT plan to close off a lane on Falls (Northern to Cold Spring) for a protected bike lane. Coalition of community groups working on this.

Public/Private Roads – Several meetings with DOT. No progress. Remains an issue of concern. Several section of PHR and Clarks in vary bad condition.

Elected Officials Update:

Delegates: Ruff, Rosenberg, Attar all supportive of funding improvements to Falls/Northern & in opposition of lane closure bike lane. They have met with DOT to voice their opposition. Rosenberg & Attar supportive of tougher penalties for violent crimes. Ruff supportive but wants a more balance approach with juveniles.

Councilman: Schleifer: Supportive of Northern/Falls – against lane closure/bike lane. Has been supportive of community’s position on public/private roads and tried to get DOT to repair roads. Hitting opposition from DOT.
